Children

As retirement has taken hold I have noticed that my adult kids are picking up some of the strain of modern life. They are especially helpful with new changes in technology. They show me how to use new apps on my phone and let me know about features that have so far eluded my brain. They tell me how to do things faster and easier.

However, they are still kids and I am reminded with the occasional odd request. They can somehow morph into a little child and drag me out of retirement back into "daddy" mode. It is hard to make light of it and their requests can be somewhat unsettling, but like anything that can cause stress, humor is a good salve.
