Update

Lou has been absent for several months. It is not that he is sitting on a shelf or swimming in and inkwell. He is actively pursuing a creative life with multiple passions and artistic disciplines. This could be referred to as “renaissance man” today, although the original term involved scholarly efforts and physical exploits along with more than one artistic medium. Lou is not so ambitious.

Lou will continue to appear in this series periodically and there is another book(s) in the works, which was the intent of this cartoon. These online postings have been a bonus.
